Fresh pear puree

Pear puree

You can quickly make a tablespoon of fresh fruit puree to get on the baby's porridge: Peel a ripe pear. Scrape the flesh off with the edge of a spoon. Stir the bog directly into the finished porridge.

Ingredients

  • Boiled pear puree
  • 1 pear
  • 1 dl water

Instructions

  • Put the pear pieces in a saucepan and pour water over.
  • Cook under a lid for 5-10 minutes on low heat, while stirring.
  • When you can mash the pear pieces with a fork, you can take the pot off the heat and turn off the stove. If the bog is to be completely creamy, you can scrape the pear pieces through a sieve or blend with a stick blender. Otherwise, you can just mash it with a fork.
  • Check that the bog has the correct eating temperature.

Notes

Use apples, bananas, melon and avocado instead of pear. You do not need to cook fresh berries. You can pour a little freshly squeezed orange juice or juice over the mashed or cracked fruits.
Use the same recipe for apple puree or peach puree. Serve boiled fruit in small pieces when the child needs to practice chewing.
